hi friends. i want to share another nice application in metu college with you. maybe u already know but there is a teacher who has no class and she is walking in and around the library all the time. i wondered what she was doing. i asked to my mentor teacher and she said that:
"she is self access teacher and if there is a student who needs extra teaching in a particular english topic, this teacher teaches in breaktimes or in their english hours. if it is english hour, the student is directed to self access, rather than the normal course, so that he can close the distance as fast as possible..."

Yes I know that Mehmet but thanks anyway to mention this. I think this is a very good opportunity for the students to keep up with their friends when they have something problematic in their learning. You see these students have all the opportunities to learn English fortunately, and when I think of our case of learning English, I think we were so intelligent and successful as we have learned English with lack of any opportunity :)
i have also heard about it, but it is nice to see this topic because i want to mention my opinion about this issue. these students are really very lucky since they have so many opportunities to learn English.
I think that this is a great opportunity first for the students and then for English teachers:D We know that all the students are very intelligent but somehow some of them manage to make their teachers go mad as they do not care about their homework, classroom tasks, etc. If there is a situation like this, then "self access" is like a helping centre for the teachers:D
I always see her but I didn't know that she is the self-access teacher. It is very nice to have such an opportunity.
Obobobo, I did not know that. It is nice, I think we should give our children to a private school, what do you think?
yes ozlem private schools have obvious advantages.
yes I know that teacher, too. on wednesdays I see her and we smile to each other :)and whenever I get into the library I see her with third year students working in private. but self access teacerh issue didnt come to my mind :)
i see that everybody knew her but not her job. i feel happy to inform you about her, then. cos:

and that brings happiness...
